The Role of the Five-Fold Ministry in the Church today

Many Pentecostals and charismatics are convinced, that in order for the church to encounter the New Testament manifestation, we must reiterate the New Testament archetype which is a model. Ephesians 4:11-13, “And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; vs. 12, For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: vs. 13, Till we all come in the unity of faith, and of the knowledge of the son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” These ministry gifts are men and women God has elected to establish a team for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry.
